Now Accepting Applications: GLAD’s Public Affairs & Education Internship Program

GLAD is seeking individuals with a strong desire to make meaningful contributions to LGBTQ and HIV+ communities to join our Public Affairs & Education Internship Program. Using traditional and new media, the program supports GLAD’s mission and vision by ensuring that LGBTQ people and people living with HIV know their legal rights and how to assert them.

Eligibility Criteria

The Public Affairs & Education Internship Program will consider applications from all individuals who are qualified; however, GLAD highly encourages applications from qualified people of color, youth, elders, transgender people, people living with HIV, and people with a disability.

Purpose and Priorities

Internship opportunities are full or part-time and are unpaid. Where applicable, can be done for academic credit or as part of a fellowship program or grant.

Guidelines

Please download and review the call for applications and submit applications to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). The application deadline is Monday, December 7, 2015.

GLAD is a legal organization dedicated to advancing the rights of LGBTQ and HIV+ communities through litigation, advocacy, education, and services. Since 1978, GLAD has achieved scores of legal victories including the right to bring a same-sex date to prom, protection against discrimination for all people with HIV, and, most recently, marriage equality.
